Crawler excavator use on construction sites

Unlike other large wheeled excavators, crawler excavators ride on two large endless tracks and are the best choice for mining and heavy construction work. Also known as mini excavators, these excavators use a hydraulic mechanism to lift heavy debris and soil.

The crawler excavator's sprocket system allows it to slide up and down hillsides with less risk, making it suitable for leveling hilly areas and landscaping uneven terrain. Crawler excavators, although slower than other excavators, generally have better balance, flexibility and stability.
